Coolest game ever
Who knew that beer pong would get so popular? I mean it just started out in Beruit during the 50’s and now it’s a giant phenomenon played by almost everyone who’s been to a party.
First, the game kind of looked like a ping pong match, but just with some cups on the table, and players on either side. However, now the game of beer pong tossed the paddles, and people just play by throwing the balls and trying to get them in each other’s cups.
How do you win the game? Well, it’s pretty straight forward actually, all you have to do is get your ball in all of the cups. Sounds strange, but you just try to throw your ball into the other teams cups. Then whatever cup you hit, the other team has to drink the beer inside, and take away the cup. Once they’ve drank all their beer, and the cups are gone, you win.
It’s pretty easy to get a game of beer pong going because it only needs 2 people, and 4 people at the maximum. You can play with just one person on either side, or you can play with teams of 2 people on either side. And you just take turns throwing.
Strangely enough, there are no *real* rules to beer pong, unless you play in legit tournaments. But if you’re playing at your buddies place, you’ll find that people play differently at each venue, so you’ll want to ask what the “house” rules are.
In terms of the physical stuff that you need to play the game, you just basically need some beer pong tables, some cups, (usually the red keg cups) and also some ping pong balls so you can throw them into the cups. And you’ll of course need some beer too.
Strangely, people play beer pong for a *living* now. OK , Maybe not a complete living, but they do get paid for it. Basically, they get paid to play beer pong, and that’s crazy to me, but there are “pro” beer pong players out there now.
Not Just for Beer: Non drinkers can enjoy this game as well by substituting other beverages in place of beer. Pop, lemonade, and water all make great replacements.
