Apparently, according to what I read somewhere, this song is about Bill and Tom’s grandmother who died. Dunno whether its true or not but its definately an “awwwwwwww” situation.
Translated by someone who actually speaks English and German fluently.
Please note that due to imagery used in songs, which does not always translate as nicely, or words that don’t even exist in the other language, a 1:1 translation would never be possible -__-
But I gave it my best shot. I can tell you its better than many many other translations I have seen on youtube.
*Note – Wenn nichts mehr geht is really hard to translate. Litterally it mean ‘when nothing goes anymore’ but that sounds really kack. but what it means is like when you’ve reached the end of what you can do, or you dont have any strength left… you get what i mean, right?
