What is the word that describes a person that lives humble to save money and help others?

I can’t remember this word and it’s not philanthropist or altruist. it’s a similar word with the meaning of living humble, saving and later donating money for charities or an expensive hobby. or maybe the whole meaning of the word is to live humble. can anyone guess which word I’m looking for?
